About this work
A woman stands in profile, her head slightly bowed and her eyes lowered. Her long hair falls in wavy locks down her back. The posture is introverted and calm, a moment for itself. Figure and background seem to consist of the same material, as if she emerges from the paint.
The whole image is made up of pasty, shiny strokes in red, yellow, pink, blue, green and black. On the body, the strokes follow the curves, in the background they run vertically like a rain of colour. This thick, relief-like texture gives the work a tangible, almost sculptural quality.
An expressive and sensual work for a bedroom, living room or studio, and a beautiful partner for Flow of Colors.
