About this work
A surface full of large letters that lie over and through each other. You recognize a c, an h, an o, an a, a g, but they don't form a word: it's about the shape of the letters themselves. Arches, shafts and diagonals intersect and make the image busy and playful.
Turquoise, red, orange and various shades of purple alternate, with soft pink and lilac areas in between. The transparent overlaps create new mixing tones each time. The surface has a visible canvas structure and light brushstrokes, giving the sleek letterwork a traditional character. The composition has no clear center and continues on all sides, like a pattern.
Suitable for a creative workplace, studio, office or a room where typography and color are welcome.
